2.11.2010 - It's been pretty hectic here at the AROC Sport HQ... We've been in the back room for the past couple of months trying to find a new date for Capital Punishment and the debate has been heated! There are no "ideal" dates of course, and picking one was always going to be an exercise in the art of compromise! There are many factors involved in finding a date - a packed race calendar, the weather, daylight hours, holidays, venue availabilities etc. Whilst there is rain in all year round, (well, since the drought has broken) we are moving to a date that has longer, warmer days with better track drying conditions. We're sure those that took the punishment in 2010 are keen to tackle the course in the 2011 dry! Which brings us to the new date we have chosen...... Saturday 19 March 2011 (and then 17 March 2012, etc.). March has become a busy month packed with many a mountain bike event, but we feel it will allow for a better event for all involved. We hope you can all get legs of steel, and do all the MTB events on the calendar!
