Entry Details

Entry Fees

A late fee of $20 applies to entries for the 100km and 50km events from 1 July 2012.

Entries for the Angry Doctor 100km and the Irate Intern 50km close 1 September 2012 or sooner if sold out.

On the day entries will be accepted for the Nasty Nurse Prologue (a late fee does not apply to the Nasty Nurse Prologue).

Insurance

AROC Sport is covered by its own Public Liability Insurance. This does not cover personal injury or ambulance for competitors. We recommend you get your own personal accident and ambulance insurance.

You do not need to be a member of MTBA or have a day licence to compete in the event.

Transfers, Cancellations & Refunds

We understand that circumstances arise where you may no longer be able to participate in the event.

Transfer of Entry

You are able to transfer your full entry to anyone else of any category up to the entry closing date of 5pm 1 September 2012. There is a $15 admin fee for transfers up to 1 September. Any transfers after the entry closing date must be done at the event registration on the Saturday afternoon and will incur a $30 administration fee. Late transfers can only be done on the Saturday before the event. Transfers will not be accepted at registration on the morning of the event.

If you are transferring your entry to another person you may only transfer your exact entry, ie, if you have a 50km entry you can only transfer that 50km entry. If you have a 100km entry plus a Nasty Nurse Prologue entry you must transfer the total package.

You may also transfer from the 100km course to the 50km course at any time up to 1 September 2012 provided there are places available. There is no refund for the difference in entry fee.

You may transfer from the 50km course to the 100km at any time up to 1 September 2012 provided there are places available. There will be a $30 administration fee plus the difference between the entry fees.

No changes between the 50km and 100km courses will be accepted after 1 September 2012.

Transfers will be done online.

Transfer of Entry After Entry Closing Date

If you need to transfer your entry after the entry closing date that is absolutely fine but please do not contact the event organisers. Instead, the transfer must be done at the event registration on Saturday 22 September 2012 and will incur a $30 administration fee. No transfers are permitted on the Sunday morning of the event. If you are transferring your entry you do not need to come to the event registration. Instead, the person taking your entry must bring the following to the changes desk at registration:

  1. a copy of your event email confirmation;
  2. a copy of a brief email or letter stating you are transferring the entry to them;
  3. $30 cash transfer fee; and
  4. a completed paper version of the online entry form. The relevant form will be posted here shortly.

Refunds

If you can't find anyone to replace you and would prefer a refund of your entry fee we are able to provide:

  1. Full refund less $30 administration fee if you advise us before 1 July 2012.

  2. 50% refund if you advise us between 2 July 2012 and 2 September 2012.

  3. No monetary refund if you let us know after 2 September 2012.

In the event that the event course is, in the opinion of the event organisers, unsafe (for example by reason of heavy rain, high winds, bushfires, "acts of god"), organisers may, in their sole discretion, attempt to re-route the course, find an alternative shortened course or cancel the event. Organisers also reserve the right to cancel, re-route or shorten the event for any other reason which may include but is not limited to environmental considerations, terrorism and war. If the event is cancelled, re-routed or shortened, no refund or transfer to another event will be made. Due to the scale of the event and travel & commitment involved by competitors, it is not practical to re-schedule the event to any other weekend.

For refunds please email angrydoctor@arocsport.com.au

Payments & Security

Payment is made online, by credit card, through the secure site run by Active Network. We accept VISA, Mastercard and American Express. If you need to pay via an alternative manner contact us. All payments are processed in Australian Dollars (AUD).

Wait list

If you miss out on an entry you can choose to go on the wait list. If a registered person withdraws then the next person on the wait list will be automatically notified that an entry is available. You will have 3 days to accept your entry after which time it will be offered to the next person on the wait list. Please note that all emails regarding the wait list will be sent from angrydoctor@arocsport.com.au. Please ensure you add this email to your approved recipients list so it is not blocked.
