Unfortunately due to a severe 1 in 87 year wind storm the 50 and 100km events were cancelled.
The team at Aurora were really looking forward to photographing the riders carve up the painstakingly prepared Mogo trails. Even with the advanced forecast in mind, nothing could prepare us for the devastation we met pre-dawn on Sunday, to which those that pushed on to the start can also attest. Our thoughts are with the locals worst affected by the storm and wish them the best with the big cleanup ahead. We have some great images of the weekend, please visit www.auroraimages.com.au.
