Bib numbers
At registration, you will receive a bag containing enough bib numbers for each member of your team (4, 8 or 12). These will have the runner’s name on them if they have been provided early enough. Do not swap your bib with another runner! Attach your bib number to the front of the outermost clothing item so it can be easily seen by race officials and photographers. Remember – if we cannot see your number, you cannot get your results and your photos!
Compulsory gear
While on the course you must have:
Transition
At the end of your lap, you must dip your timing stick into the timing box to record your lap time. You must also call out your bib number so it can be recorded by race officials. You can then choose to continue on another lap, or transition with another member in your team, by passing the timing stick to your next runner, who will commence the next lap. The hourglass course has been designed so that runners can approach the transition area without crossing the course.
Results
The team which will have completed the most laps after 24 hours of race time wins. For teams with the same number of laps, the first team to finish their final lap wins.
