Comments: What is your
team's aim/objective? To put the words "KEEN" and
TORQ" as many times as possible in this questionnaire
and come home TORQ-ing. What memories do you hope
to take away at the end of the race? KEEN to take
home memories of a beautiful and challenging course
having great times with mates that we can TORQ about
forever. What essential item would you never be
without on an adventure race? KEEN shoes and TORQ
nutrition, or is that a silly question? . What
strategic advantage do you have over other teams, and
when will it come into play during the race? TORQ
products will "unleash our potential" TM. What has
been your preparation in the lead up to the race? In
preparation we "Live a hybrid life" TM. Which
team(s) present the greatest threat to your finishing
standing, and why? No one poses any threat to our
prime objective. No one is going to stop us TORQ-ing. We
are of course KEEN to beat all other mixed teams, Hammer
because TORQ is better and 'its all good' because they
beat us at rogaines and need to square the
ledger. If your team photo appeared in a magazine,
what would the caption read? "Team 163: KEEN to show
how TORQ can improve your Adventure Racing
performance". What is your team's theme song?
We do poetry instead. KEEN to TORQ at
presentaion. What advice do you have for any
aspiring adventure racers? Get in and have a go.
KEEN on your feet and TORQ in your belly - off you go.
. What words of wisdom do you have for your fellow
entrants? Words of wisdom are best left to the wise
and therefore precludes Adventure Racers by definition.
Just wear the right shoes and eat the best stuff and
you'll be fine.
