Within each event you will need to choose either the Novice Course or the Classic Course. If you are participating in the classic Course you will automatically be given the opportunity to upgrade to the Advanced Course if you meet certain time cut-offs within the event.

Irrespective of Novice, Classic or Advanced Courses there are 3 categories:

Mixed Team: Team consists of at least one male and one female member. The third team member can be either male or female.

All Male: All 3 team members are male.

All Female: All 3 team members are female.

Your category is automatically determined based on the gender of the team members when you enter the event.

You can also compete in the Corporate Challenge by emailing Alina and asking to be entered in this additional category. Your team will then contend with other corporate teams for the Corporate Challenge and the well-deserved bragging rights on Monday morning (leaving you Sunday to take care of these aching muscles!). To enter this category you must satisfy the following 2 criteria: at least 2 members of the team must be from the same company or government department, and your team name must integrate your company's name.

Prizes

There are over $5,000 in prizes for each event provided by our sponsors.

For the Classic Course / Advanced Course, prizes are awarded to the first 6 places in the Mixed category and for the first 3 places in the All Male and All Female category.

Prizes for the Novice Course are awarded to the first place in each of the mixed, male and female categories.

There are also special prizes for:
