Join in the fastest growing sport in Australia and expand your horizons.

Adventure racing is a fun and challenging outdoor experience that promotes team work, strategy and fitness. Challenge your workmates and put out the challenge to other companies. Have an afternoon of fun and get to know your workmates better.

The Adventure

The AROC Corporate Challenge is designed as a fun team challenge. It involves teams of 3 that must travel through the course together (not a relay style). You are given a map and instructions and must find your way from checkpoint to checkpoint by mountain bike, kayak and on foot. There will be some surprise challenges and some clues along the way. It is a bit like your own Amazing Race!

Remember it is not just about fitness - it is more about good team work. Anyone can do it regardless of gender, age or size.

If you have done an adventure race before then this is the perfect opportunity to introduce your workmates. Events will last only 1 - 2 hours. During this time you will cover only short distances on mountain bike, kayak and on foot. Much of the time will be spent working out where to go so the pace is only as fast as you can think!

The Format

All you need is your workmates, a mountain bike and a sense of humour.

Together as a team of 3, you find your own way around the secret course by foot, MTB and kayak using your wits to get from checkpoint to checkpoint and tackling the odd surprise.

Kayaks, paddles and PFDs are provided. The kayaks used are a very stable 3 person plastic sit-on-tops. No previous kayaking experience is required.
