27 November 2011 - Paddle with a celebrity!

On March 25th 2012 Lifestart is giving you the opportunity to paddle the majestic Sydney Harbour with some of Australia’s top celebrities. Actor Peter Phelps, Ironman Guy Leech, and Bondi rescue’s Rodd Kerrbox are just some of the names who’ve thrown their paddles up to compete in the 17.5 kilometre event from Blues Point to Clontarf. Being Lifestart’s major fundraiser for 2012 we are offering you the chance to throw your bid in the ring as we auction off our celebrities. Remember to bid big as the biggest spender paddles in the same kayak as their hero.

Make sure you continue to check in at kayakforkids.com.au to find out who will be the next celebrity to board our kayaks. Already we have Ironman Guy Leech, Bondi Rescue’s Rodd Kerrbox, league legend Greg Alexander, pro surfer Michael Lowe, actor Peter Phelps, and Nutri Grain Ironman Hugh Dougherty. Once you have submitted a bid we will keep you up to date with how your auction item is placed, and as always, we are hoping everyone can dig deep for this great event. Please direct your bids to kirrilymcnamara@lifestart.org.au along with the amount you wish to bid, your name and contact number and the celebrity you would like to paddle with. Thank you for throwing your paddle behind Lifestart’s major fundraiser, Kayak for Kids 2012, and we look forward to seeing you on the water.
